To customize a folder view
(Estimated Time: 2-5 minutes approx, Level= Novice User)

To choose a background picture, use the following steps:

1) Open the folder you want to customize, and then click Customize This Folder from the View menu.
2) From 'Use this folder type as a template' select the template type from the options.
3) For a picture on the folder to remind you of contents click the picture you want to use by browsing to the picture you want to use.
4) Click on 'Apply'

 

Remove Customization

To remove a folder's customization, use the following steps:

1) Open the folder you want to customize, and then click Customize This Folder on the View menu.
2) Click 'Restore Default', click 'Apply'
