NewDotNet.dll problem, cannot connect to the internet

"NewdotNet.dll corresponds to New.Net software installed on your computer which by default installs in 'C:\Program Files\NewDotNet'. This software integrates itself with the network configuration (Windows Sockets, or Winsock stack) so that all DNS queries are passed through the New.net DLL. If the DLL is removed without also rolling back the changes made to the Winsock stack, such as by simply deleting the file, the computer's Internet connection will be broken. If a particular file or dll is removed manually or accidentally by an anti-virus or spyware removal program then it tampers your internet connection settings and damages your winsock." abstract from http://www.cexx.org/newnet.htm

To remove New.net safely from your computer you should remove it from Add Remove programs in the Control Panel. If accidentally you deleted any of its file and you are not able to connect to the internet try repairing Winsock. A software that does that is available for download at Top 10 freeware section. You can also visit NewDotNet website for instructions to remove NewDotNet safely from your computer.

Internet explorer won't redirect Web pages automatically

Solution: Some web sites are added to a category called restricted sites in Internet Explorer. These sites usually contain content not liked by the Internet Explorer. This might cause the internet explorer to stop redirection from such web sites automatically. So in order to enable the web site from auto redirecting the links you should remove it from the restricted web sites. To do this go to

Tools ---> Internet Options

Click on the Security Tab  ----> Restricted Sites

Click on Sites, select the website from the website list and click on 'Remove'

Restart your browser and you should have the auto-redirection enabled.

AUNPS2.dll error during start up

AUNPS2.Dll is a AlwaysUpdatedNews.com related parasite or malware. A malware includes computer viruses, worms, and Trojan horses. So its not safe if you have this file on your computer. If you are having trouble with your computer try a spyware and an anti-virus scan to get rid of this malware. If you get an error message during start up saying AUNPS2.dll is missing probably that is good for you. Probably a spyware or an anti-virus program would have removed it. You can probably fix this by deleting RUNDLL32 AUNPS2.dll, _Run@16 from your Windows start up or by deleting an entry from the registry.

  1. Click on Start ---> Run

  2. Type regedit

  3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

  4. From the right pane delete the value:
    "AUNPS2" = "RUNDLL32 AUNPS2.DLL,_Run@16"

  5. Exit the registry editor
